Lore:Atrius Building Commission
The Atrius Building Commission is a prestigious and influential Imperial institution based in a plain-fronted and austere hall on a minor but respectable plaza in the Imperial City. The company was founded during the reign of the Emperor Magnus Septim.[1]
Known for its strict oversight of construction in the Empire, it is the primary authority responsible for authoring and notarizing the vast majority of significant building projects across Cyrodiil and beyond. The Commission ensures that all developments, from the grandest Imperial structures to local townships, meet the Empire's architectural standards, legal frameworks, and quality controls.[1]
The Atrius Building Commission were responsible for the repair and rebuilding of damaged roads, bridges and structures in Valenwood after the Five Year War.[1]
