Quick Walkthrough

1. Speak to Lurius Alro about duties and extenuating circumstances to receive the Halgern Ancestral Cuirass.
2. (Optional) Talk to Lurius about loan for Thelius and donate the 2,500 needed yourself (ends quest, keep the cuirass).
3. Travel to Anvil and speak to any banker in the Briricca Private Bank about loan for Thelius.
4. Either:
   • Offer up the cuirass as collateral.
   • Co-sign for the loan (requires 10+ Cyrodiil Reputation).
5. Bring 2,500 gold to Lurius.

Detailed Walkthrough

Lurius has been working through the assorted debts of Marshal Thelius Halgern, and has found several coming due of which he was not aware. He tasks you with going to the Briricca Bank in Anvil and securing a 2,500 gold loan to cover the Marshal for now. Lurius will give you the Halgern Ancestral Cuirass as collateral to use in securing the loan.

Travel to Anvil and seek out the Briricca Private Bank in the Garden Quarter. Anyone behind the barred windows can offer you the loan you're to secure, so speak to them about the loan for Thelius topic. Unsurprisingly, Thelius has had what are termed "a few unfortunate incidents in his repayment history", and so additional security is requested. You can offer up the cuirass or, with 10+ Cyrodiil Reputation, offer to co-sign for the loan.

Regardless of your approach, once successful you will be granted 2,500 gold to bring back to Lurius. Do so, for no reward but praise (or the Cuirass, if your name was enough to get the loan).

In doing so, Lurius has discovered that Thelius' financial situation is far more dire than he expected. He now wants me to go to the Briricca Private Bank in Anvil to take out a loan for Thelius. Lurius gave me an enchanted cuirass to use as collateral.
20		Using the cuirass as collateral, I was able to take out a loan for Thelius.
25		I was able to secure a loan for Thelius by co-signing for it.
100	Finishes quest	Lurius thanked me for securing the loan for Thelius.
101	Finishes quest	I personally gave Lurius the money Thelius needed.
