Detailed Walkthrough[edit]

Lurius Alro seeks your help in locating evidence for Marshal Thelius Halgern as regards a payment dispute between a brewery owner and his wagoner contractors. The contractors have raised a complaint with the Marshal as the brewer, Antonius Medericus, has refused to pay them following a series of deliveries where (he claims) his produce was tampered with.

Speak to Antonius first. He can be found in the Medericus Distillery. Asking him about the payment dispute will see him make his case. Ask for proof of what he's saying, and he'll name an episode where he saw an Orc at the Wagoners Association reading a letter which he put away on seeing Antonius in a manner that he finds suspicious.

Go to the Colovian Wagoners Association building on the west side of town to look for this letter. You'll find it poking out from under a pillow that's on one of the beds on the upstairs floor. Once you have it, you have the option of confronting the Orc - one Obbru gro-Shara about it. He'll pay you 250 gold to give it back, and will pass you an Unsigned Memo in return. He'll ask that you pass it to Thelius to implicate Antonius as the wrongdoer instead. Doing so will end the quest without further reward.

If you don't want to take up Obbru on his deal, simply deliver the Unsigned Letter to Thelius instead. Thelius doesn't seem to really grasp what the letter means, but pays you 300 gold regardless.

Notes[edit]

  • Delivery of the Unsigned Letter will see Obbru fired, removing him from the game.

Index Finishes Quest Journal Entry
10 Lurius Alro asked me to resolve a payment dispute between the Colovian Wagoners Association and Antonius Medericus. Antonius, a local brewer, is refusing to pay the wagoners for several recent shipments of aliyew they were responsible for. He claims that they were tampered with during delivery. I am to find proof either supporting or refuting his claim and bring it to Thelius Halgern.
20 Antonius Medericus is convinced that the Orc working at the Colovian Wagoners Association was somehow involved in the sabotage of his aliyew shipments. He suggested that a letter the Orc was reading in the Association building may serve as proof of his claims.
30 I blackmailed Obbru gro-Shara with a letter that suggested he sabotaged the aliyew shipments. He paid me in exchange for it. He also gave me a forged memo to bring to Thelius Halgern.
100 Finishes quest☑ I showed a letter to Thelius Halgern which suggested the aliyew shipments were sabotaged. He thanked me for resolving the issue and paid me for my work.
101 Finishes quest☑ I brought the forged memo to Thelius Halgern. He believed it, but dismissed me in a huff.
