Quick Walkthrough

1. (Optional) Talk to Kuram outside Lindasael.
2. Enter Lindasael's Flooded Banquet and speak to Haela Ysonian about works and varla stone.
3. Open the secret passage in the flooded room into the varla stone chamber.
4. Bring the Varla Stone of Plicate Mending to Haela.

Detailed Walkthrough

If passing Lindasael along the Gold Road, you may encounter the minotaur, Kuram. Speaking to him will reveal (through a series of gestures) that Haela has entered the ruin and that Kuram would dearly like you to go after her.

You'll find Haela in the Flooded Banquet section of the ruin. She is happy to see you, and asks that you assist in retrieving a varla stone, which she means to gift to the Temple of Dibella Estetica in Anvil. Her hope is that they in return will allow her to serve with them for a time. However, the treasure chamber that she believes contains the stone has long since flooded.

Descend the stairs next to Haela to enter a flooded room studded with Loria Stones. While there may seem to be no exit here, there is in fact a button on the west side of the room, behind a metal 'lamp door'. Activating this button opens a secret passageway westwards. This leads to the varla stone chamber, although the stone itself is concealed by a metal covering. Press the button set in the central column to lift this covering, and take the Varla Stone of Plicate Mending revealed beneath.

Return now to give the stone to Haela. While somewhat disgusted by the feelings imparted by touching the thing, she still believes that its beauty will be of interest to the Dibellan temple. She rewards you with the Ring of Charming Insinuations for your efforts.

Notes

• The Varla Stone of Plicate Mending can be found in the Sacred Baths area of the Temple of Dibella Estetica on conclusion of this quest, on an altar opposite Lessi Hecaria.

She said that the stone was probably somewhere in the flooded section beneath her and asked me to retrieve it.
100	Finishes quest	I brought Haela Ysonian the varla stone for the Temple of Dibella Estetica. For my help, she gave me an enchanted ring.
