After you have collected Moon-Sugar Water for the Hidden Moon ritual for Zerith-var, you will be stopped by Inquisitor Tashkier:

Inquisitor Tashkier: "Walker. This one followed your steps and now requires your testimony."

You have the option of speaking with him, or you can just walk on by:

"You are the transient that spoke with Cantor Krin'ze, yes? She instructed you to investigate a phenomenon she witnessed at Moonmont.
The Torval Curiata would like to know what you have discovered."

Why do you need to know?

"You are ignorant of the Torval Curiata's Inquisition. There is but one cause for us to seek knowledge on any subject—to protect the true faith of the Riddle'Thar Epiphany from heresy.
Now, your findings at Moonmont. Describe them."

What will you do with this information?

"This one and his fellow Inquisitors will judge if your findings pose a threat to the true faith. And if it does, we will use all of our considerable means to burn the heresy and corruption from this land, in the Riddle'Thar's name.
Now, speak."

I met a Khajiit, Zerith-var, sent from the First Era. He's from the Order of the Hidden Moon.

If you decided to lie he will respond and leave:

Inquisitor Tashkier: "The cantor is young and prone to distraction. This one would expect nothing less from one faithful to a Daedric Prince. We are finished, walker."

If you told the truth:

Inquisitor Tashkier: "These are dangerous words, walker. The Inquisition will need to verify them at once. We will meet again."

If you remained silent:

Inquisitor Tashkier: "Silence and mendacity are the seedbed of heresy, walker. This one will have the truth—if not here, then soon. And forcefully."

After being guided by the ritual to Claw's Strike to assist with the dro-m'Athra and Rajaska, you will deal with the recently turned Ta'khida-morna but High Cantor Viti will be very displeased when she witnesses Zerith-var using necromancer to purify Ta'khida's spirit. This leads to her reporting the incident to the Torval Curiata, and they will decide to deal with the perceived heretic and their helper.

Inquisitor Tashkier

Inquisitor Tashkier will be the one assigned to kill Zerith-var, and he is found in the cavern beneath the ruins of the Temple of the Dark Moon on Khenarthi's Roost. You will be there looking for a moon-blessed item for Zerith-var to empower his Moonclaw:

As you approach him, Tashkier's taunt will depend on what you told him in Rawl'kha.

If you lied:

Inquisitor Tashkier: "I'll cut out your lying tongue, heretic!"

If you told the truth:

Inquisitor Tashkier: "You gave honest testament. Now face honest deliverance!"

If you stayed silent:

Inquisitor Tashkier: "Your silence shall soon be permanent!"
