Gather runestones and runelights to aid the residents of Slag Town in the Brass Fortress. Zone: The Clockwork City Quest Giver: Razgurug Location(s): Brass Fortress, The Shadow Cleft Reward: Slag Town Coffer Average Leveled Gold XP Gain: Standard XP ID: 6041 Repeatable: Daily

Razgurug requested I gather a magical substance from the runestones in Clockwork City. I'll also need to collect a special crystal that causes the residue to glow.

Quick Walkthrough

1. Talk to Mindora (optional).
2. Collect 6 Runic Residue from Clockwork Runestones.
3. Collect 3 Inert Runelights from the Shadow Cleft.
4. Return to Razgurug.

Detailed Walkthrough

Razgurug is located in the Slag Town area of the Brass Fortress, roughly between the Wayshrine and the entrance to the Outlaws Refuge.

When speaking to him, he says:

Razgurug: Things keep going this well and we'll have enough stockpiled to keep us good for years. Still willing to help?

Player: What do you need me to do?

Razgurug: Mindora, a rare exception to my general hate of mages, discovered the runestones here have magical gunk coated on them. You'll need a runelight to figure out where the stuff is sticking, but from there you should be able to just scrape it off.

Player: Magical gunk?

Razgurug: Just another mystery of Clockwork I don't understand. Oh, and you'll need to get us more runelights. You'll find them behind this strange portal, not quite sure where it leads. Everyone but Mindora was too afraid to go in, so you'll have to ask her.

Player: I'll take the job.

Razgurug: Don't go killing yourself, you hear? Who else would I get to run around Clockwork for us?

Mindora is nearby, and you may question her for more information. Gather the Runic Residue from rune nodes throughout Clockwork City.

In the Shadow Cleft, the Inert Runelights can be found floating around.

Once you have all the items, return to Razgurug.

I have the runic residue.

"No excuses, just results. I knew I liked you, hotshot.
I'll be sure to tell Mindora that we have more of this in stock. It's scrap compared to actual glyphs, but we make do with what we can get."
