Lore:Cantemiric Velothi

The Cantemiric Velothi were a tribe of Velothi that lived in Black Marsh. They were one of the tribes of Mer inhabiting the province, the other being the Barsaebic Ayleids, and generally lived in eastern regions near present-day Archon, Arnesia, and Thorn. It is unknown where they came from, as tribes were typically either sent to Black Marsh as refugees or prisoners, or settled along the coastal waterways and adapted to its strange and usually insalubrious environment. When he awoke, Dagoth Ur planned to reclaim their ancient territories that were "stolen by Argonia". The non-Argonian cultures were documented well into the Second Era, but were no longer found there by the end of the Third Era.
