Shalaasa Samane

Shalaasa Samane is the publican of Lucky Shalaasa's Caravanserai in the small town of Arvud. She appears to be quite attentive to her customers, remembering the exact words of one, the High Elf Iridor, during The Visitor Known as Vendel Othreleth - a feat of recollection that cracks the case as to Vendel Othreleth's true identity.

Shalaasa has a sister named Llandesa Samane who can be helped during An Armun Roadblock. If this occurs (fittingly, it only can occur if you have high Luck), Llandesa will direct you to Shalaasa for payment using a promissory note. It's a note that Shalaasa receives with some amusement:

"What've you got there? A letter from my sister... Oh, it says here that you helped her and she wants me to pay you? That scoundrel. Well, here you go. You have my thanks for helping her. "I'll pay you back the next time I'm in Arvud"... Ha! As if I'll ever see that money."
