Lore:Dune Queen of the West
The Dune Queen of the West is an obscure entity from the ancient Khajiiti mythology predating the ri'Datta era.[1]
The Dune Queen is one of Akha's mates. In the earliest days, when Ahnurr and Fadomai were deeply in love, Akha ventured across the heavens, his trails forming the Many Paths. His father told him to seek love akin to that of Ahnurr and Fadomai. Akha united with the Dune Queen of the West. He also had other mates, including the Mother Mammoth of the North and the Winged Serpent of the East.[1]
However, upon venturing to the South Akha never returned. Alkosh and his loyal guardians oversee the numerous Dragon children of Akha, some of whom were from the union with the Dune Queen of the West, "for they are both terrible and kind".[1][nb 1]
Notes[edit]
- The Winged Serpent, Dune Queen, and Mother Mammoth are associated with cardinal directions, each corresponding to another landmass in relation to Tamriel. The Dune Queen represents the West,[1] symbolically associated with the desert continent of Yokuda.[2][3]
