Valacca Prontia, in the Grand Chapel of Talos in Old Ebonheart.

Valacca Prontia is an Imperial priest and Adept of the Imperial Cult in the Grand Chapel of Talos in Old Ebonheart. She appears to be highly conscious of the apparently parlous state of the chapel's finances, and thus her two quests for you concern the gathering of materials to make figurines, for selling back to Cyrodiil.

She wears a common robe and a pair of common shoes.

Aside from her natural charm and ability to absorb fatigue from others, she knows the following spells: Crushing Burden Touch, Dispel, First Barrier, Great Burden of Sin, Great Resist Common Disease, Great Resist Fire, Great Resist Frost, Great Resist Magicka, Great Resist Shock, Greater Resist Poison, Heavy Burden, Iron Will, Magickguard, Stamina, Strong Levitate, and Tinur's Hoptoad.

Dialogue[edit]

  • Greetings:
(If you are not a member of the Imperial Cult):
"Welcome to the Grand Chapel of Talos. Perhaps you want to join the Imperial Cult? We willingly accept converts."
(After completing her quests):
"Greetings %PCRank, and may the divines smile upon you."
  • almoners:
"Almoners gather alms from members and friends of the faith. We depend on donations to fund most of our good works. Almoners who are successful at bringing in generous donations may rise in the ranks of Imperial cult service."
  • Background:
"I am %Name, %Rank of the %Faction and an ordained priestess of Tiber Septim."
(If you have completed the Imperial Cult quest 'Theft of Brass'):
"He seemed like a decent worker, if of weak faith. I would have never thought that he would resort to this. Some things can only be explained by personal failings, and this was his."
  • errand:
(If you have completed her quests):
"I have no further duties that I could ask of you, %PCName. You have performed admirably. Have you talked to Felmo Ilveroth about further work?"
(If you have finished Felmo Ilveroth's quests):
"I have no further duties that I could ask of you, %PCName. You have performed admirably."
  • Imperial Cult ranks:
"The ten ranks of status in the Imperial cult are, from lowest rank to highest rank: Rank One, Layman; Rank Two, Novice; Rank Three, Initiate; Rank Four, Acolyte; Rank Five, Adept; Rank Six, Disciple; Rank Seven, Oracle; Rank Eight, Invoker; Rank Nine, Theurgist; and Rank Ten, Primate. You are currently at rank %PCRank, %PCName."
  • lay servant:
(If you are not a member of the Imperial Cult):
"While it is not possible to become a priest or consecrated cleric without joining cult orders, we do need lay servants -- earnest laymen dedicated to serving the Nine -- for certain unglamorous but spiritually rewarding tasks. Do you wish to join the Imperial Cult?"
(If you are a member of the Imperial Cult and haven't started her quests):
"While it is not possible to become a priest or consecrated cleric without joining cult orders, we do need lay servants -- earnest laymen dedicated to serving the Nine -- for certain unglamorous but spiritually rewarding tasks. If you will take up an almoner's task, I do have an errand that needs doing."
"Racer plumes from the native bird-like cliff racer are used locally and throughout the Empire as decorations for garments and household goods. If you are looking to buy some, you should browse at the local alchemists."
"Scrap metal refers to bits of exotic brass recovered from animated Dwarven artifacts like the centurion. Such metal is considered rare and precious, but can easily be obtained by a daring adventure into a Dwarven ruin. As they are not technically Dwarven artifacts, their use in Imperial Cult figurines is a valid religious undertaking."

Imperial Cult: Scrap for Cyrodiil[edit]

  • Greeting:
"Hello. I am %Name and I manage the volunteer almoners for our cult. The work of an almoner is not materially rewarding or exciting, but it needs to be done all the same. There is always an errand that needs doing."
  • scrap metal:
"Good, very good. A lot of the alms we used to collect are now given to the cult shrine in Castle Ebonheart and so few are willing to get their hands dirty on more demanding pursuits. I can see in your steps that you are going to like my first task: bring me five parts of Dwarven scrap metal. We will mold them into figurines of the Nine and sell them in the heartlands."
"I see you are back already. Surely you don't have the task completed. How disappointing -- but I expect you to fulfill your task in the end." (If Disposition ≥ 55, then Disposition -5)
"I see you have the scrap metal I asked for. Good, no, excellent news. Thank you, %PCRank, for taking your duties seriously. Talos looks proudly on those who fulfill their assigned tasks for the betterment of civilization. Creating the figurines will help us secure funding for a good few months, which is certainly for our betterment. And with us, the cult. With the cult, civilization.
Please take these scrolls as thanks. It's not much, but I can't afford to give you more than your fair share." (Disposition +20, Imperial Cult Reputation +5, removed 5 Scrap Metal from your inventory, and you receive 1 Scroll of Daydene's Panacea and 1 Scroll of Divine Intervention)

Imperial Cult: Plumes for Cyrodiil[edit]

  • Greeting:
"Hello, %PCRank. Anything you want to tell me?"
  • racer plumes:
"Selling figurines to the Heartlanders is good, but not good enough. I need you to get twenty cliff racer plumes. We need them for two reasons: one, they will be used as stuffing for the figurines; two, they will be sold as well. Plumes are one of the staple exports of Morrowind, and they decorate many western homes. It doesn't matter if they end up buckled or broken, we just sell those to a different clientele." (Narusya receives 2 Racer Plumes, Emercius Ludoviil receives 2 Racer Plumes, and Voldrayne Dalori receives 1 Racer Plumes)
"%PCRank, do you have the twenty racer plumes we need?"
"I see you have found the plumes. Thank you, %PCRank, I'll be taking these. And this is for your troubles." (Disposition +10, Imperial Cult Reputation +5, removed 20 Racer Plumes from your inventory, and you receive 50 gold and 2 Scrolls of Divine Intervention)
