Accept yield

Strangely but Estormo will accept yield. --95.24.229.248 16:14, 10 January 2012 (UTC)

I can confirm this (in my case, he accepted my 'yield' when I was hidden!). He will also turn and converse with you whenever you move in range when you're hidden (he'll use standard NPC lines such as "Yes?" or "Need Something?"). It's a little creepy. :P 86.147.139.6 20:30, 19 July 2020 (UTC)

Info and yuck

I took my time approaching him ending up face to face when he gave his little talk. He went hostile and my follower Lydia casually stepped up behind him and cut his throat (quite graphic!). He can be pickpockted for Hooded Thalmor Robes, Thalmor Gloves, and Thalmor Boots. Redoing that scene I got Lydia to back off and we left him there.
