About the word 'Sarvirra' in the wall translation[edit]
I'm not sure what this word means, and I don't think it is a proper noun, unless it is saying (The) Stone Vaalukiv Horse, (named) Sarvirra, (the) most courageous animal... Kevalan 03:33, 19 December 2011 (UTC)
Pumpkin[edit]
Inside Southfringe Sanctum there is a small fox named pumpkin. Would there be a way to use Animal Allegiance to get the fox to my house? My girlfriends pet name is pumpkin thought itd be cute. — Unsigned comment by 71.123.205.9 (talk) at 23:29 on 29 December 2011

- The page Skyrim:Pumpkin currently contains no information. But it is called internally dunSouthfringePetFox and one can have pet dogs in Skyrim. I guess I'll take a look at it. --Alfwyn 22:33, 13 January 2012 (UTC)

- You can certainly have pet foxes -- they're one of the things your adopted child might bring home as a pet if you've installed Hearthfire. But I believe that Pumpkin is hostile and can't be tamed, only killed. 174.6.51.17 02:52, 21 March 2013 (GMT)

Animals R[edit]
So what creatures are affected by this shout? I tried looking for the info in the CS, but that program hurts me. This affects trolls, for example, which was a little bit surprising! WerojTalk Contribs 11:49, 4 August 2012 (UTC)
- It looks to be: Barbas, bears, cart horses (but no others), chaurus, chickens, cows, deer, dogs, elk, foxes, frostbite spiders, goats, hares, horkers, mammoths, mudcrabs, sabre cats, skeevers, slaughterfish, trolls, wolves (including wolf spirits). It won't work on undead or animals that are already commanded, and it won't work on a "teammate" (I'm assuming this means an animal companion) unless you use the full-strength shout. – Robin Hood↝talk 03:38, 1 September 2012 (UTC)
Affected Animals Continuing to Fight (and kill) Followers[edit]
Under "Notes" it currently says that verification is needed for "When the shout is used and a follower is already actively fighting an animal, the animal will continue to fight your followers. The animal will kill your follower if it depletes their health." I can verify this from numerous personal experiences. Unless there are any objections, I plan to remove the "verification needed" tag. Animal Allegiance level range is wrong?[edit]
Under effects it says "Animal Allegiance up to level 20.." The page for mammoth says it has a level of 38(i confirmed in game), yet as far as i know a mammoth is affected by this shout. So the description of the effect has to be wrong, either the spell affects much higher level animals or it doesn't care about the level at all. --91.105.79.218 21:37, 13 September 2017 (UTC)
Since mammoth is the highest level animal in the game, im just gonna go ahead and remove the part mentioning the level limit from the page for now. --91.105.79.218 21:44, 13 September 2017 (UTC)
- Assumptions are not the way to go when calling something into question. Mammoths are affected, but that doesn't mean the page is wrong, many shouts are affected by perks in the magic skill trees, and mammoths may only be affected once the right perks are taken. The actual wording in the cs is "20 pts for 60 secs in 250 ft", and pts in almost every instance translates as the level the spell works up to. We can request that someone investigate this using a clean game to see whether the spell works on mammoths without any perks or bonuses. Possible Bug[edit]
Oddly, after using Animal Allegiance, ALL non-predatory animals EVERYWHERE are now non-hostile to me. And it's been several in-game days. And by 'non-hostile', I mean they read 'blue' with the Detect Life spell, and they do not flee from me. I've never had this happen before, so it's clearly a bug, but it's a cool one. Being able to walk up to an elk and just look it over, or watch it idle... Spiffy.
