Moira is an originally non-hostile hagraven inhabiting Witchmist Grove. She does not appear before the related quest begins, but will remain alive if you avoid confronting her. If confronted as part of the quest, she will become hostile through dialogue. Upon her death, she will drop her "wedding ring".
Related Quests[edit]
- A Night To Remember: Find your lost friend, Sam, as you recover from a bad hangover.
Quest-Related Events[edit]
After gathering the relevant info from Ysolda, you can encounter Moira at Witchmist Grove, and she will happily greet you by saying:
- "Darling! I've been waiting for you to return, to consummate our love!"
- Umm... Actually, I was hoping to get the ring back.
- "What? You want it for that hussy Esmerelda, with the dark feathers - don't you? I won't let her have you!"
However, if you exit dialogue before asking the ring back, she will instead come to her own conclusions:
- "We're not done talking. You fell for that hussy Esmerelda, with the dark feathers - didn't you? I won't let her have you!"
Notes[edit]
- Moira was meant to have another line if spoken to for a second time after leaving conversation. However, due to her becoming hostile upon leaving dialogue, this line can't be hear normally: "You can't have the ring back! You made a commitment!"
- If you bypass her stage of the quest but approach her afterward, she will be immediately hostile, without any dialogue.
Bugs[edit]
- Multiple items inside of Anise's Cabin are owned by the
HagravenFaction
. Stealing these might result in Moira or other random Hagravens sending hired thugs after you, even if you have already killed both Anise and the respective Hagraven.- The Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch, version 4.3.1, fixes this bug.
