Quick Walkthrough[edit]

  1. Talk to Clisius Hermontar in Hal Sadek about his lucky dagger.
  2. Kill the Land Dreugh on the northern riverbank west of Hal Sadek.
  3. Take the Hermontar Dagger from the Land Dreugh's body and return to Clisius.
  4. Either keep the dagger, or hand it over in exchange for four Stridfish.

Detailed Walkthrough[edit]

Clisius Hermontar stands outside of his house in Hal Sadek, and is upset about the recent loss of his lucky dagger to a land dreugh. He'll ask if you can help return it. Agree, and speak to Miris by the village's northern bridge for more precise directions. She'll point you west, along the riverside - follow that instruction, and follow the north bank westwards. You'll quickly come across the Land Dreugh beside a patch of Water Hyacinth. Kill it, and you'll find the Hermontar Dagger upon its body. Bring the dagger back to Clisius. You can tell him you want to keep the dagger (knocks 10 points off his disposition), or else trade it in in exchange for four Stridfish and 20+ disposition (or no Stridfish and +10 disposition if you initially refuse to return the dagger).

Index Finishes Quest Journal Entry
10 A fisherman named Clisius Hermontar in Hal Sadek is lamenting the loss of his 'lucky dagger', which he claims was stolen by a land dreugh. I agreed to find and return Clisius' dagger. He claimed the land dreugh must be along the river, saying that Miris can confirm his story.
12 Miris has confirmed that a land dreugh did indeed steal Clisius' lucky dagger. She has a clearer account of the event, and says that it fled to the west along the river.
20 The land dreugh was downstream from Hal Sadek, on the bank of the Naharine River. I found the dagger after dispatching it.
23 I killed a land dreugh. On its body I found an old dagger with the name 'Hermontar' engraved on the hilt.

27 Finishes quest☑ Clisius is dead.
29 Finishes quest☑ I returned the dagger to Clisius. He accepted it, but was annoyed that I hadn't immediately handed it over once I'd obtained it.
30 Finishes quest☑ I returned the dagger to Clisius. He gave me some fish in return.
