Volendrung Respawn Timer

I think "If the an enemy drops the hammer and it isn't picked up within 5 minutes, it will respawn back where it was originally retrieved from if it was not yet time for it to despawn." needs to be verified... I have not seen the hammer stand by for 5 minutes....more like 15 seconds.

If an enemy dies and drops a hammer in an area where others can pick it up, someone will definitely pick up the hammer by then as it is a highly coveted asset. As someone who PVPs often, I can verify that the hammer will respawn back in base in 5 minutes if no one picks it up at all.Zebendal (talk) 21:33, 29 June 2020 (UTC)

Volendrung spawning in alliance area of emperor

I've seen a couple of websites claim that Volendrung won't spawn in the Alliance area of the current emperor, but I just saw it happen in-game. Does anyone know if there is any relation between spawn chance and an Alliance holding emperorship, like maybe it's reduced for emperor's alliance? --Xyzzy ^Talk 08:05, 10 September 2020 (UTC)

Our website is the most accurate about information for Volendrung as far as I know, but I can tell you that the Hammer's spawn chance is not affected by "fairness". Just because an alliance has emperorship or has most of the map doesn't mean the hammer will be less likely to spawn for them.Zebendal (talk) 08:23, 10 September 2020 (UTC)

There's nothing to prevent Volendrung from spawning behind the Scroll Temple Gates of the current Emperor's Alliance, although it is unlikely to happen given the number of potential spawn points. —⁠Legoless (talk) 11:38, 10 September 2020 (UTC)

It's random, but when it spawns it usually spawns either behind a gate and the spawn point closest to the gate. Its rare when its doesn't spawn at the two points closest to the gates.Zebendal (talk) 20:13, 11 September 2020 (UTC)
