Wretched Spire

Wretched Spire is a hidden settlement in the Deadlands, located south of Jynd's Foundry. It serves as a refuge for both clanless Daedra and mortals living on the plane. It is one of the few locations in the Deadlands that isn't under the control of Mehrunes Dagon, and he allows it to exist, to his amusement.

It was once a part of Old Mournhold that was ripped from Tamriel by the Daedric Prince in the First Era. However, the strange passage of time in the Deadlands meant that only a few decades have passed since this event. The town's inhabitants include those Dark Elves who were displaced from that time.

A copy of Dremora Stories About Mortals is located near Decanus Statlilia's wash bin, near Spire Sundries. When the Spires Fell sits on a table behind the cooking fire near The Splintered Tankard.
