The Indorils dispel the ward

Fort Virak is ours. All that remains is to kill General Serien, the leader of the Covenant forces in Stonefalls.

Detailed Walkthrough

Assault

Tanval Indoril and his son Garyn Indoril are ready to dispel General Serien's wards around Fort Virak Keep.

After they destroy the ward, make your way into the keep. Serien is inside along with two Covenant guards. The Indorils and Holgunn will join you for this fight. At around 50% health, General Serien's flesh beguns to bloat, and he transforms into a flesh atronach.

Aftermath

When Serien dies, his spirit will appear where he was kneeling when you first enter the keep. The general refuses to fail. In a last ditch effort to get an edge over the Pact, he channels a spell that envelops Garyn Indoril. The man falls over, convulses and dies. Tanval is distraught by his son's death. Holgunn pleads with him, saying that the Coral Heart is too dangerous. Tanval hits Holgunn with a burst of magic and steals the Coral Heart from him. He swears that he'll destroy the Daggerfall Covenant for killing his son. Tanval Indoril flees Fort Virak, and Holgunn tells you to meet him outside.

Holgunn can be met outside, and he bears a grim expression. He says Tanval is planning to use the Coral Heart to release Sadal.

Bugs

• If General Serien is killed too quickly after he transforms, or before killing his minions, his spirit will not appear and the quest cannot progress. This is overcome by exiting the room and retrying, but leaving General Serien to be killed last. ^?

	This is it. I must slay General Serien. Objective: Kill General Serien
	During the fight, General Serien killed Garyn. Tanval attacked Holgunn in a fit of rage and took the Coral Heart. I should speak to Holgunn. Objective: Meet Holgunn outside Keep
