Quest-Related Events[edit]
When you approach to challenge them, they will clearly express their desire to compete in the arena:
- "I'm hoping to fight in the Summoner Division, but Tholbor's really picky about who makes it to the final rounds."
- Would you mind sparring with me? I'm looking to join the division championships.
- "Certainly! Maybe if I beat you I can get a chance to fight in the arena. On your guard!"
With this, they will become hostile, forcing you to defeat them in order to obtain a Summoner certification. Immediately after defeating them, they will only have enough energy to wave you away with:
- "I'm exhausted. Find another sparring partner if you're still looking for a fight."
If spoken to later, they will reiterate their ambition to fight:
- "I'm hoping to compete in the Summoner Division. I finally learned to conjure wolves. Only took me three months of training and three lost fingers."
