Various shrines that serve different purposes are located across Tamriel.
Rededication Shrines[edit]
Rededication Shrines offer an opportunity to reset attributes and skill points. The fees are based on the number of skills, morphs, or attributes that you have. Skills and morphs are not changed until you change them individually. Since attributes are much easier to re-add, they are all reset to 0, requiring you to re-add them.
Shrine to Akatosh[edit]
The Shrine to Akatosh gives you an opportunity to reassign your attribute points. Activating the shrine brings up the following text:
- "Akatosh blesses you with his wisdom and vision. For a generous contribution in his name, the Dragon God of Time will grant you the power to revisit your choices regarding Attributes."
Shrines to Akatosh can be found in Stormhaven and Blackwood:
Shrine to Auriel[edit]
Shrines to Auriel give you an opportunity to reassign your attribute points. Activating the shrine brings up the following text:
- "Auriel blesses you with his wisdom and vision. For a generous contribution in his name, the God of Time will grant you the power to revisit your choices regarding Attributes."
Shrines to Auriel can be found in Grahtwood and Summerset:
- Rededication Shrine — A rededication shrine located in Elden Root. (map)
- Temple of the Divines — A house of worship and monastery in central Alinor. (map)
Shrine to Alkosh[edit]
The Shrine to Alkosh give you an opportunity to reassign your attribute points. Activating the shrine brings up the following text:
- "Alkosh blesses you with his wisdom and vision. For a generous contribution in his name, the Dragon Cat will grant you the power to revisit your choices regarding Attributes."
The Shrine to Alkosh can be found in Northern Elsweyr:
- Shrine of the Cats Divine — An outdoor shrine in the center of Rimmen. (map)
Shrine to Kyne[edit]
The Shrine to Kyne gives you an opportunity to reassign your attribute points. Activating the shrine brings up the following text:
- "Kyne blesses you with her wisdom and vision. For a generous contribution in her name, the Goddess of Storm will grant you the power to revisit your choices regarding Attributes."
Shrines to Kyne can be found in Deshaan and Western Skyrim:
- Rededication Shrine — A rededication shrine in Mournhold. (map)
- Hall of the Dead — A temple to the Divines located in central Solitude. (map)
Shrine of Warrior-Poet[edit]
This shrine to Vivec gives you an opportunity to reassign your attribute points. Activating the shrine brings up the following text:
- "The Warrior-Poet blesses you with his wisdom and vision. For a generous contribution in his name, Vivec will grant you the power to revisit your choices regarding Attributes."
The Shrine to Warrior-Poet can be found in Vivec City
- Shrine of Warrior-Poet — A rededication shrine dedicated to Vivec in the Temple Canton of Vivec City (map)
Shrine to Stendarr[edit]
The Shrine to Stendarr give you an opportunity to reset either all your skill points or only the points spent on morphs. Activating the shrine brings up the following text:
- "Stendarr blesses you with his wisdom and vision. For a generous contribution in his name, the God of Mercy, Charity and Justice will grant you the power to revisit your choices regarding Skills."
Shrines to Stendarr can be found in Grahtwood, Stormhaven, Summerset, and Blackwood:

Shrines to S'rendarr give you an opportunity to reset either all your skill points or only the points spent on morphs. Activating the shrine brings up the following text:
- "S'rendarr blesses you with his wisdom and vision. For a generous contribution in his name, the God of Mercy, Charity, and Justice will grant you the power to revisit your choices regarding Skills."
The Shrine to S'rendarr can be found in Northern Elsweyr:

Shrine to Stuhn[edit]
The Shrine to Stuhn gives you an opportunity to reset either all your skill points or only the points spent on morphs. Activating the shrine brings up the following text:
- "Stuhn blesses you with his wisdom and vision. For a generous contribution in his name, the God of Ransom, Fraternity, and Justice will grant you the power to revisit your choices regarding Skills."
Shrines to Stuhn can be found in Deshaan and Western Skyrim:

Shrine of Father of Mysteries[edit]
This shrine to Sotha Sil gives you an opportunity to reset either all your skill points or only the points spent on morphs. Activating the shrine brings up the following text:
- "Father of Mysteries blesses you with his wisdom and vision. For a generous contribution in his name, Sotha Sil will grant you the power to revisit your choices regarding Skills."
The Shrine to Father of Mysteries can be found in Vivec City:
- Shrine of Father of Mysteries — A rededication shrine dedicated to Sotha Sil in the Temple Canton of Vivec City (map)
Shrine to Mara[edit]
Shrines to Mara can be used to perform the Ritual of Mara. They can be found in major settlements in the first and second zones of each alliance, Northern Elsweyr, Summerset, and Western Skyrim. Activating one will bring up the following text (saved in your collection as Shrine of Mara):
- "At this altar to the Goddess of Love you can use a Ring of Mara to espouse your beloved."

- Rededication Shrine — A shrine to Mara located in Davon's Watch. (map)
- Rededication Shrine — A rededication shrine in Mournhold. (map)
- Temple of the Divines — A house of worship and monastery in central Alinor. (map)
- Shrine of the Cats Divine — An outdoor shrine in the center of Rimmen. (map)
- Hall of the Dead — A temple to the Divines located in central Solitude. (map)
- The Great Chapel of Zenithar — A temple dedicated to Zenithar located in Leyawiin (map)
- Temple of the Winds — A temple dedicated to the Eight Divines located next to the northeastern gate of Gonfalon Bay, and next to the Fighters Guild. (map)
Shrine of Mother Morrowind[edit]
The Shrine of Mother Morrowind can be found in the Temple Canton of Vivec City. It functions the same as the Shrine to Mara, but has an alternate appearance based off of Almalexia. Activating it will bring up the following text:
- "At this altar to Almalexia you can use a Ring of Mara to espouse your beloved."
- Shrine of Mother Morrowind — A shrine where players can perform the Ritual of Mara dedicated to Almalexia in the Temple Canton of Vivec City (map)
- Hall of the Tribunal — A temple dedicated to Almsivi located in Necrom. (map)
Housing shrines[edit]
Pantherfang Chapel allows the players to conduct the Ritual of Mara inside it.
