Narifah is a Redguard carpenter who runs Lucky Lathe Carpentry in Vastyr.
Dialogue[edit]
When you first arrive in Vastyr, Narifah will say one one of the following:
- "I once had a mentor who advised licking the wood before you worked it. Swore he could taste the shape it would take.
I for one won't be risking the splinters."
- "I see you eyeing my work. Don't be afraid to take a closer look. Come, come.
Note the grain and how it strengthens these tools."
- "It's hard work shaping wood into whatever you may imagine, O wayfarer, but it's honest work.
My bones may ache at day's end, but I'm always proud of what I make."
After the events of City Under Siege, she will instead say:
- "A terrible thing, what befell the cathedral. A shame to lose something so beautiful, especially when it meant so much to so many."
- "A beautiful thing a piece of wood. Imagine having your whole history written inside of you.
All it takes is some care and attention to reveal what's hidden inside."
- "Rotten bark, gnarled roots, sometimes the best thing for a tree is to cut it down.
Then you can breathe new life into it with a chisel and saw."
Her dialogue will change again after the events of Guardian of Y'ffelon:
- "We'll mourn those we've lost in due time, but for now, I pour myself into the wood's grain.
This work, my trade, it gives me purpose beyond just coin."
- "Know, O wayfarer, that this humble carpenter will not forget the aid you offered in these troubled times.
Peace be upon you."
- "Don't be afraid to run your hand along my wares. There's not a stray splinter or sharp edge in sight.
Luck and clear roads to you, wayfarer."
