While exploring Hildune's Secret Refuge, I found a journal written by Nadafa. It tells the story of how she was seduced by a vampire. The journal mentions that her husband, Giran, works in Northpoint at the cemetery and lives in the fishing village.

While in Hildune's Secret Refuge, you may find a journal near a vampire called Nadafa. Interacting with it will summarize the journal:

<The journal tells the story of a young woman named Nadafa, who was seduced by a pale stranger. A vampire, perhaps? The journal mentions that Nadafa had a husband named Giran, who worked at the Northpoint cemetery.>

Take the journal.

If you decided to recover the journal, you can bring it to Giran who can be found in their home in Northsalt Village. When you speak with him, you can either tell him the truth or lie about her death.

"Oh, hello. I thought that maybe you were my wife. I got back from my job at the cemetery, but she wasn't here."

Sorry, friend. I have some bad news.

"Bad news? Has something happened to my wife? To poor Nadafa?
Well, spit it out! I can handle it. Tell me what happened to my wife."

I found your wife's journal. She left you for a vampire. [Tell truth.]

"Yes, you're right. I know you're right. I need to think about this.
Please, just leave me alone."

I found your wife's body. A vampire killed her. [Lie.]

"What a thoughtful person you are, coming all this way to give me this news. Thank you.
Now, if you don't mind, I need to be alone for awhile."

Either way, you will receive some gold for bringing him the news and he will want to be left to grieve.
