Gaspard the Hermit

Gaspard the Hermit is a Breton found outside the Crypt of Hearts.

He wanders between two points outside of it, beginning at a brazier on the path north of the crypt, in front of which he kneels for a time, before heading northwest to the stairs in front of the crypt, then turning eastwards, where he'll stop and tend to something near a ruined wall. Once he's done there, he'll repeat the path in reverse.

Dialogue

When engaged in conversation, he'll become somewhat furtive:

"I like the ambiance out here.
There's a quiet in the air. So pleasant compared to that screaming from below."

Screaming?

"Yes, you heard right. Screaming. In the crypts below.
Listen—I have somewhere to be—don't think I'll see you there. But perhaps later."
