Aklief is a Nord brewer who runs a tavern in Riverside Inn in Nimalten.

If you approach him, he says:
- "If you find a hair in your drink, blame the dog. Mutt sheds like a dead pine."
Curiously enough, there are two cats in the inn, but no dog.
