Cartrus Gavinius' corpse

Cartrus Gavinius was an Imperial healer and part of a group of Fighters Guild members sent to Forsaken Mine to deal with some trolls. Since Viranus Donton was part of the group and nobody has heard anything from them in days, Modryn Oreyn is understandably concerned and asks you to investigate what happened.

After finding the corpses of guildmembers Ariente and Ashtus Chenius, the plot thickens when you find Cartrus dead in the first room of the cave, lying in a pool of his own blood. There are no obvious clues to his cause of death, as the only inhabitants of the room are two nuisance animals.

He is clad in a complete set of iron armor, including boots, a cuirass, gauntlets, greaves, and a helmet.
