Sirollus Saccus was a master blacksmith for the Imperial Legion who is among the longest-lived men in recorded history.[1]
During the reign of Empress Katariah he was hailed as the greatest smith in the Imperial City, and was thus chosen to represent the Elder Council in an armorer's challenge between Katariah and the Council.[2] The chosen smith of Katariah was an Argonian named Hazadir who was formerly a slave in Morrowind, despite using much more inexpensive material and more mundane methods, Hazadir's equipment was able to lead Katariah's champion Nandor Beraid to victory over the Elder Council's chosen champion Raphalas Eul, who donned Sirollus' marvelous equipment.[2] This was because what Hazadir lacked over Sirollus in mastery and assets, he made up for in sheer knowledge over the rugged environment of Black Marsh in which the battle was simulated after.[2] Defeated yet determined, Sirollus set off to Morrowind to learn whatever it was that Hazadir had learned there[2] and as of 3E 427 still remained there at the Ebonheart garrison on Vvardenfell.[1]
