The Redolent Loam is a region that consists of the western portion of Deshaan. The Redolent Loam houses the capital of the Great House Hlaalu, the city-state of Narsis. The center of the region is Lake Hlaalu which is north of Narsis. It borders the Varanis region to the north and the Lagomere region to the east. The Obsidian Gorge takes up the northern road of the Loam, leading into the city of Mournhold.
