Lake Amaya (also called Lake Thir)[UOL 1] is a large lake in the center of the Deshaan region of Morrowind. It surrounds the city of Mournhold and meets the docks of Shad Astula.[1] It is fed by the Thir River, a large waterway that runs through the province.[2][UOL 2] Local Ashlander tribes use the waters of the lake for primitive irrigation, allowing the fertile black soil of the Lake Amaya basin to sustain both plants and animals.[3]
