Howling Cave in 3E 433
Howling Cave is a cavern system found in the West Weald of Cyrodiil.[1] It was occupied by the necromancer Atirion in 2E 582, he was resurrecting undead from the nearby graveyard to terrorize Vlastarus.[2][3] In 3E 433, a band of necromancers took up residence in the caves and were killed by the Hero of Kvatch in service of Meridia.[1]
Circa 4E 180, Varro Matius' cousin Nazarius reported seeing walking skeletons at an Ironwood patch near the Howling Caves,[4] prompting the Warrior to rescue townsfolk and investigate it as the lair of Celemaril to no avail.[5] The exact location of these caves and their relation to Howling Cave is unknown.
