"Forromeo has spoken. The world shall hear. Let all peoples tremble before the everlasting might and grandeur of Clan Direnni."
Forromeo[1]

Forromeo was a member of Clan Direnni, known as an author, magician, and engineer of siege weapons. He is credited with the creation of the Grand and Thaumaturgical and Most Puissant Trebuchet of Overarching Peril.[1]

The Spire of Forromeo was a location within the Chimera of Desolation, formerly known as Caecilly Island, named after Forromeo himself. This tower contained living quarters, a library, and other chambers. It was situated within the Grotto of Gamewyrd, a cavern hidden behind the waterfall at High Rock Falls.[2][3]:155

Little is known about Forromeo's life. He was an active and already prominent member of Clan Direnni long before the period between 3E 398 and 3E 399,[4][3]:16 as his works and notes had already been written by that time.[1]

In 3E 172, as a result of Chimere Graegyn's successful scheme against Mehrunes Dagon, the Daedric Prince retaliated against the mortal who had deceived him. Chimere’s pact had guaranteed him eternal life in his hometown, surrounded by the joyful voices of his friends and countrymen. Twisting the literal wording of the pact, Dagon tore Caecilly Island—a small isle off the coast of Northmoor—out of Mundus and cast it into the void. Though Chimere survived, all of his friends and neighbors were instantly killed, their voices lingering as a cruel echo to haunt him.[5] Given that Forromeo was a resident of Caecilly,[1][3]:155 it is likely he perished during this event.[5]

When the Apprentice visited the realm in 3E 398 or 3E 399,[4][3]:16 they discovered the Boots of the Savior's Hide within the Spire of Forromeo. The tower was heavily guarded— Dark Seducers stood watch outside, while Frost and Fire Daedra roamed its interior.[2][3]:155
