Map of Drowned Coast circa 2E 582.

The Drowned Coast is the westernmost region of the greater Greenshade region. The Drowned Coast is the home of the city of Woodhearth, the capital of Greenshade.[1] The northern area is mountainous with several Ayleid ruins scattered about, including Rulanyil's Fall.[2] On the other side of the mountains is the fortress known as the Seaside Sanctuary, which safeguards the western shores of Valenwood.[3] The southern area is riddled with swamps and is the home of the Keerilth Clan of Vampires, who haunt the nearby township of Longhaven.[4][5][6]

There also around four islands located in the ocean south of the coastline, the easternmost isle being the largest. Though they often appear on maps of Tamriel, little is known about them.
