Quick Walkthrough

1. Speak to Ofelia in Ald Balaal's Vault about recruiting kinfolk and Vunal.
2. Investigate the sky burial west of Barzamthuand and pick up Vunal's Shield.
3. (Optional) Speak to Hannat-Tulu about recruiting kinfolk.
4. Return to Ofelia.

Notes

• Hannat-Tulu appears only during the night or an ash storm, when he doesn't receive sun damage.

10		Ofelia wants me to find and recruit Vunal, one of the oldest Baluath vampires whose figure recently appeared to Utukku-Seri. She presumes Vunal or his remains may be found atop one of the Ashlander sky burials northwest of Ald Balaal.
20		I found Vunal's shield and picked it up. It had an engraving on it that confirms he killed himself four years ago. When I took the shield, it summoned a Devourer in front of me.
30		I ran into an ashwalker named Hannat-Tulu going down the steps from the sky burial. He was curious about my presence at Vunal's resting place.
40		I offered Hannat-Tulu to join the clan. He quickly saw the benefit.
100	Finishes quest	I reported my findings to Ofelia. She said an ashwalker named Hannat-Tulu traced my scent back to Ald Balaal after watching me pick up the shield. Kashshaptu recruited him into the clan.
110	Finishes quest	I reported my findings to Ofelia. He said Hannat-Tulu, the ashwalker I met at the sky burial, traced my scent back to Ald Balaal. Kashshaptu recruited him into the clan.
200	Finishes quest	Hannat-Tulu is dead.
