Khayam-I bound to his summoning platform

Khayam-I is a daedroth and servant of Molag Bal, who has been summoned and bound by the Daedra Worshipper Idroso Menas in the basement of her house in Sailen. He is currently trapped within a ritual circle and is understandably unhappy about the situation. During his related quest, you may speak with him, and agree to free him from his torment.

Dialogue[edit]

  • [The bound Daedroth seems to be in great pain and refuses to speak to you.]
  • "You! You are not in league with the witch. Come closer. I have an offer for you."
  • "Your kind's offers are not to be trusted. I won't have anything to do with you"
"Bah! Were it not for these charms that bind me to the witch's will, you would not have refused me so lightly. Be gone!"
  • "I'm Listening:"
"You may call me Khayam-I. My very name rallies legions in Coldharbor. I answer directly to the Fiend King, the terrible Molag Bal! The witch Menas has temporarily summoned me to your world. By her enchantments, I am bound to answer her questions truthfully, but she is greedy and unwise. She has questioned me far beyond the rules of proper conduct, and I have been forced to divulge secrets entirely unfit for one of her station."
  • "Continue:"
"The witch must be punished, but, alas, I cannot act against her for the time being. My request is simple, mortal. Remove one of the candles that bind me to her will. Let me have swift vengeance upon her, and in return I will reward your assistance."
  • "How do I know I can trust you?:"
"The precepts that allow me to be summoned into your world demand my integrity in such matters. When I give you my word, you may be certain I will uphold my end of the contract. I will reward you and you will not be harmed."
  • "We Have an Agreement:"
"A wise decision indeed. Remove the candles that imprison me. Make it quick."
  • "Release me, mortal."
  • "Khayam-I does not forget easily, mortal. Leave now and perhaps you will be spared my anger when I am released."
