A Wraith-of-Crows (or Wraith of Crows) is an otherworldly creature composed of several daedric crow-like entities which create a semi-humanoid skeletal figure. It possesses both physical and magical attacks. They are usually found in service to Nocturnal.
One of them is summoned during Lost in the Gloam by the Shadow of Sotha Sil, and another is fought in the Mines of Khuras during Through a Veil Darkly. A number of generic wraiths are encountered in the Crystal Tower and Evergloam. Three unique Wraith-of-Crows can be found behind the portal at Exarchs' Egress.
Locations[edit]
- Exarchs' Egress — A group boss location in Evergloam, accessed from a portal found in a small cave southeast of the Brass Fortress. (map)
- Incarnatorium — A fabricant production plant in the Machine District. (map)
- Mines of Khuras — Located on the shore east of Aldcroft, in Glenumbra, and contain Bloodthorn cultists. (map)

Quest-Related Events[edit]
Through a Veil Darkly[edit]
The Wraith-of-Crows encountered in the Mines of Khuras will yell out:
- Wraith-of-Crows: "Give me the Oracle, mortal flea!"
It will then fight you.
Skills and Abilities[edit]
- Chop
- A basic melee attack dealing moderate physical damage.
- Shadow Blast
- A basic ranged attack dealing moderate magical damage.
- Reap
- The wraith soars through the air in a forward trajectory towards you, indicated by a circular AoE situated under it, dealing moderate physical damage and knocking you away, and snaring you in the process.
- Seize
- The wraith shoots a charged bolt of purple energy at you, which raises you into the air and immobilizes you. It then follows with a vicious overhead strike with its scythe while you are trapped, pummeling you into the ground, dealing high physical damage. You can break free from the immobilize.
- Shadow Belch
- The wraith throws up a shadowy cloud of energy in front of itself, indicated by a large circular AoE, which lingers on for some time. Standing in it snares you and inflicts continuous high magical damage. After being place for long enough, projectiles are launched from the AoE outwards, indicated by smaller circular AoEs, dealing moderate magical damage.
The Wraith-of-Crows during "Lost in the Gloam" has a unique ability:
- Abyss Unleashed
- The wraith runs to the center of the arena and begins spewing out black smoke, which quickly fills the room. In conjunction, several large groups of swirling crows appear in the arena, four in total all around the wraith, indicated by large circular AoEs, dealing high continuous physical damage. Another large field of dark magic appears around the wraith, indicated by a larger circular AoE, dealing continuous high magical damage. Even if not standing in those AoEs, the swirling crows will continuously bombard you with lobbed shadowy projectiles, dealing moderate magical damage.
- To top it off, the wraith is shielded by a nearly-invulnerable damage shield. This ability wears off after a duration but can be interrupted by following the Duke of Crows' call to use any of the four machines in the arena to release a blinding light at the wraith, knocking it out of this ability and leaving it vulnerable for a window of attack.

- A Wraith of Crows polymorph was available for purchase in the Crown Store, although unlike Wraith-of-Crows creatures the polymorph has no wings and uses a standard NPC skeleton.
- The entrance animation for the Wraith-of-Crows features a large murder of crows traveling in a circle with the Wraith corporealizing in the center.
