"Practicing my evocation, of course. I know it must look odd, but I'm just embarking on my own studies. I came to Grandmother's shrine to ask for a little help. She was a Telvanni spellwright in her time!"

"Oh, yes! Grandmother Faras served in Ald Isra for more than a century. She could have claimed a master's hood if she'd wanted, but she had no interest in politics and rivalries. She devoted herself to her family instead."

"Often? No. Still, I was hoping she'd provide me with a little insight into this puzzling tome. She always had a knack for making even the most difficult concepts simple.
But I think she wants me to work things out for myself today."
