Hunt down a dragon
To combat the Dragon menace, I accepted a contract from Battlereeve Tanerline to kill them at their hunting grounds.

Quick Walkthrough[edit]

  1. Kill one dragon at any of the three hunting grounds.
  2. Return to Battlereeve Tanerline‎‎ to collect your reward.

Detailed Walkthrough[edit]

Make your way to any of the Dragonscours, and from there, to one of the sublocations specified on your map. Watch where the Dragons land and fight them there. Dragons are dangerous and should be tackled with a group. When you've killed one of the beasts, return to the sanctum and let Tanerline know what you've finished.

The three dragon hunting grounds are as follows:

Reward[edit]

Upon completion, you will be granted an Elsweyr Dragon Hunter's Coffer, which can contain the following items:

Notes[edit]

  • Killing Dragons in Northern Elsewyer for this quest will not count toward killing Dragons to complete The Dragonguard's Quarry, and vice versa.
  • Before Update 39, this quest required you to kill three Dragons.

* Any text displayed in angle brackets (e.g., <Alias=LocationHold>) is dynamically set by the game and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game.
  • Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
  • Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
