He occasionally calls out for challengers while he idles before combat.
- Corlys the Chainmaker: "Come! Test your mettle against my menagerie! The finest fighting specimens from across the world!"
- Corlys the Chainmaker: "Bear witness to my mighty menagerie! My people have traveled the world to bring you the most exciting threats to battle!"
When you start attacking, he will cry out.
- Corlys the Chainmaker: "At last, some challengers! Let me whet your combat palette with a selection of dangerous wildlife, secured at great risk!"
After defeating the first wave of monsters, he will say:
- Corlys the Chainmaker: "Good, good! I see you're warmed up. Mindless beasts are one thing, but how will you fare against something more … intelligent?"
After defeating the second wave of monsters, he will say:
- Corlys the Chainmaker: "Fascinating! I may have to add you into my collection, before you can cause any more damage!"
After defeating the Argonian Behemoth:
- Corlys the Chainmaker: "You've beaten my behemoth! Do you have any idea how expensive those creatures are to maintain?"
While summoning his henchmen:
