Holes in the Ceiling[edit]

A hole to the void...
With Night-Eye

While clearing Kindred Cave today, I noticed a couple of caverns with strange holes in the ceiling, allowing the grey void of nothingness which exists beyond the confines of the cave walls to be seen. (These are not the holes through which "daylight" enters the cavern; I'm familiar with those and these holes are entirely different, as can be seen in the screenshots to the right.) The first can be seen in Kindred Cave, in the cavern where the door to Kindred Cave Winding Hollows is located; the hole is located a little west of the fire with the cooking pot over it. The second is in the southwestern-most cavern in Kindred Cave Runways. I used the Construction Set to confirm the presence of these holes and the fact that they're not covered up in any way. I believe that the cave segment used here (EditorID CRmFloorCeilingHole01; BaseID: 363F6) is normally used when connecting to another chamber with a hole in the floor immediately above, but in this case there's nothing but void beyond the hole.

I've added this to the article as a visual bug, although I left it unconfirmed due to UESP's no-self-confirmation policy. I've also reported it to AFKTrack. — Wolfborn(Howl) 04:02, 19 November 2023 (UTC)
