accessing topics organically

When I speak to Vala, the Daedric Summonings topic does not appear, so a large chunk of subtopics are not available. Is there a different person who has this topic readily available so I can talk to them in order to unlock these conversation topica with Vala? FYI I am aware addtopic "Daedric Summonings" would accomplish this. My hope is to do this organically. Chill fridge (talk) 04:22, 23 June 2023 (UTC)

The only NPCs who can introduce the "Daedric summonings" topic are Witches and Warlocks in Ald Daedroth. Unfortunately, all the witches and warlocks there are hostile and would need to be sufficiently Calmed in order to talk to them. Further, you need to ask them about "my trade" in order to introduce "Daedric summonings" and most of the witches and warlocks have the NoLore flag set, meaning they won't have the "my trade" topic even if you do manage to talk to them. The only ones who don't have NoLore are Oisig and Sloomalah in the Outer Shrine, and Je Tee and Kar Alber in the Antechamber. If you can talk to one of them about "my trade" they will introduce "Daedric summonings"; other than these four, no other NPC can introduce this topic (in the vanilla game, anyway).

As a general note, there are a lot of topics in the game which are never properly introduced and so will never actually appear. Unfortunately the wiki lists a lot of this dialogue without noting that it will never actually appear in-game. A project for someone to go through... — Wolfborn^(Howl) 06:23, 23 June 2023 (UTC)
