Will o the Wisp[edit]

Found this by coincidence. Quite interesting. --— Unsigned comment by 212.10.76.23 (talk)
- Don't see how it's relevant. Sure, Bethesda didn't invent Will'o'the Wisps. They also didn't invent Goblins, Ghosts, Liches, Wraiths, Minotaurs, or half the other creatures that appear in the games. (Daedra being the biggest exception, though even then, Atronachs are basically just another word for Elementals, which have been used by many other sources.) Morrowind had a lot more unique creatures than Oblivion does, with all their bug-like creatures and bipedal reptiles and such. But even there, you're going to find a lot of creatures inspired by previous games, literature, and folklore. --TheRealLurlock Talk 09:43, 20 March 2007 (EDT)
Werewolves in Skyrim?[edit]
Are there any (for lack of a better term) feral werewolves in Skyrim? I can't recall seeing any in three playthroughs, excepting perhaps one in a cage trapped by the Silver Hand. This wiki doesn't consider Orcs as creatures after Daggerfall, as they are PC and NPC races instead of just monsters from then on, so saying werewolves are present in Skyrim might not stand up to that same standard unless there are some "feral" ones.--OzzMan 22:05, 23 December 2011 (UTC)
- So far only the Dawnguard plug-in applies wild werewolves. Some are farmer npcs who transform in front of you. — Unsigned comment by 74.45.34.89 (talk) at 22:41 on 5 November 2012
Werebeasts[edit]
i just wanted to point out that acording to the lycrathopy page many types of were beasts are existing but few are shown in gameplay so i think that each beast should have a section--Zargox bloodeye
- The bestiary is currently reserved mostly for creatures seen in game. See Lore:Lycanthropy for information on werebeasts. —Legoless 16:24, 15 June 2012 (UTC)
- im aware of this but i belive that it should have at least some recognition on this page Zargox bloodeye 5:52 pm, Today (UTC+1)
Wamasu or Wamasus[edit]
Tamrielic Lore uses Wamasus as a singular, while Wamasu is coming from ESO news. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 01:55, 7 May 2013 (GMT)
- Actually, I think that Tamrielic Lore is using it as a plural. "Black Marsh was once known to be inhabited with what the Argonians called the Wamasus" read the same as "Black Marsh was once known to be inhabited with what the Argonians called the Khajiiti". The use of the word "Them" in the next sentence reinforces the fact that it is not referring to a singular creature, but a collection of creatures, the Wamasus. Jeancey (talk) 02:00, 7 May 2013 (GMT)

Wolves[edit]
I'm trying to start a bunch of articles on these creatures, but there are difficulties find enough lore. Does anybody know more lore for a wolf article that I collected in here? User:Ashendant/Wolf--Ashendant (talk) 23:11, 13 May 2013 (GMT)
