Skylamps are flying creatures native to Morrowind,[1] described as big gas bags with spears for feet.[2] Skylamps can be seen flying alongside Red Mountain.[1] They are said to have preyed on dragons, running them out of Vvardenfell by overwhelming their territory in numbers, despite initially having been their prey.[3][UOL 1] Though some claim it was the cliff racers who drove out the dragons instead.[UOL 2]
The spell "Skylamp's Shadow" is named after them.[4]
