Dialogue Bug

I've encountered some kind of bug with this. I think that what caused it was talking to Uncle Sweetshare either before starting the quest, or between talking to Severia Gratium and Jeleen (as I knew where he was and didn't think I needed to talk to her until checking the wiki). Either way, his dialogue options didn't update to allow me to talk about the moon sugar investigation. Fortunately, moving the quest to stage 50 through the console seems to fix the problem and allow the quest to continue.

I do have a few mods installed, but none which are likely to have affected the quest.

have a similiar probelm, but in my case i cant complete the quest, she doesn't seem to know i killed him ( i have the hat whit me ) i to use mods, of which none affect anything in, at or around solstheim

I had the same bug and it was enough to set the stage to 30 and then go to talk with Jeleen to advance normally. I also met Uncle Sweetshare before getting this quest. --81.162.213.220 19:58, 2 July 2020 (UTC)
