Felki Silver-Plow is an eldery citizen living with her husband Ralgar, a retired hunter, in Bruma.
After waking up at 7am and eating breakfast with Ralgar, at 9am Felki heads to the market, where she stays until 2pm. On Sundas, she will cut short her perusing at 12pm and head to the Cathedral of St. Martin for three hours of prayer. On weekdays, she then heads to Ice-Wind Traders until 6pm, while on weekends she heads straight home. After dinner at 7pm, she spends the rest of the evening sat in front of the fire before her bed time at 10pm.
Felki wears Colovian fine clothes, a Colovian fur hood, a silver necklace, a silver ring, farmer's gloves and a pair of fine boots. She also carries the key to his house and a random selection of gold, lockpicks, gems, jewelry, food and drink.
Dialogue[edit]
When first meeting her, she will greet you with:
- "Have you come to learn, or just to bother an old collector?"
- "Are you looking for my husband, Ralgar? He's probably out hunting or something."
Felki is fascinated by Nord lore, as her husband remarks:
- "Watch what you say around my wife, Felki. She'll talk your ear off about old faerie tales and legends, if you let her. She might be a little talkative sometimes, with all her stories of myths and nonsense and what-not, but she is a good woman. At least I'm not like that, eh?"
Indeed, when meeting her she will confirm:
- "Oh, absolutely. I collect anything Nordic, whether it be a crafted artifact or a spoken story. Some may call it an odd hobby, but I'm proud to preserve my people's ancestry."
When asking about rumors she notes:
- "I'm envious of Rilja's Nordic artifact collection. Girl's honoring our ancestors."
If you ask her about the Silver-Plow family name, she explains:
- "Ah, an interesting question, with an interesting tale to follow! You see, the names of Nordic clans are earned, not simply given. Each name has a meaning, each meaning, a story. Our clan was once a small group of farmers in Windhelm, in an era long before this one. We were a poor lot, and could barely pull enough roots out of the ground to make a living. But, one among our clan, an exceptionally bright young man, had a plan to help us till the icy soil of the North. He left the farm, and traveled to Whiterun to learn from the best smiths in the Province. He studied there for many years before returning. He brought with him a plow of tempered steel, so bright and gleaming that it shone like pure silver in the sunlight. The metal was tough and sharp enough to tear through the frosty earth, and light enough to be carried by even the lamest of ponies. The farm and the clan, my clan, flourished, and was thereafter known as Silver-Plow. It just goes to show that not all great clans and warriors survive by tackling their problems head on. Sometimes, you've got to use your brain more than your blade."
Notes[edit]
- Felki was meant to be part of the All the Wrong Places unfinished quest.
Conversations[edit]
You may overhear the following conversations between Ralgar and Felki:
Ralgar: "You need to stop spending so much money on these little trinkets. I almost didn't have enough to restring my bow!" |
Ralgar: "I could go for some good boar right now..." |
Felki: "Ralgar, have you seen my book on Winterhold?" |
Felki: "Going to head out on a hunt today?" |
When in the market place, you may also hear her talk to Gryfard Peton:
Gryfard: "Excuse me, ma'am! Would you - would you - oh, by Mara..."
Felki: "No, no, don't stop. Try again."
Gryfard: "Uh, okay...would, uh, you like some-"
Felki: "Louder! More confident!"
Gryfard: "Would you like to buy a new petticoat, ma'am? Or perhaps a nice, fur-lined cloak? I have a wide variety of clothing, right here!"
Felki: "That's it! You have to be confident, young man. Confidence is key. Now, I'd like to buy that dress right there..."
Gryfard: "Oh? Oh! Of course. Here you go, and...thank you."
Felki: "Of course. Divines watch over you, child."
