Daedra monsters in the caves[edit]
This faction acts as part of the tortuous set of relationships involved in Paradise. Apart from inter-faction relationships, it has no purpose.

Dalvilu FACTION Peace[edit]
Initially, all the members of the Dalvilu in Bleaker's Way are in this faction. It doesn't do much except give them some Dalvilu-related dialogue. During Mephala's quest, they are all removed and added to the Dalvilu FACTION War faction instead.

Dalvilu FACTION War[edit]
The members of the Dalvilu FACTION Peace faction are added to this one during Mephala's quest. The change in faction is what causes the pitched battle to erupt between the Dalvilu and Ulfgar families.

Dark Brotherhood[edit]
This is the main Dark Brotherhood faction, the one through which the player advances during the questline. The player is added to it after slaying Rufio and is removed while fighting the Wrath of Sithis. It controls reactions from other Brotherhood members and allows them to access the sanctuary and its items.

Dark Brotherhood -- Won't Call Guards[edit]
The player is added to this faction and removed from it again during three quests: Broken Vows, A Kiss Before Dying, and The Lonely Wanderer (if you're in a secure location). Membership ensures that you can attack the targets of those quests without them calling guards to arrest you.

This faction owns three cell doors in Bleak Mine, but its principle purpose is to keep its members from attacking one another. During the events of Malacath's Daedric Shrine Quest, the Ogres are removed from this faction and added to the MalacathOgreFaction instead, which has a -50 Reaction Adjustment to this faction.
