Morrowind:NPC Classes
In addition to the twenty-one predefined classes that you may choose, there are a number of other classes that only NPCs can be. The details of these extra classes can be viewed in the Construction Set. You can emulate any of these classes by means of a custom class, but some of them are very hard to play effectively at a low player-character level.
Alchemist[edit]
These characters sell potions and alchemy equipment.

These characters sell potions at Temples and Shrines.

Bookseller[edit]
These characters sell books at bookstores.
- Specialization: Stealth
- Attributes: Intelligence, Personality
|
|
Buoyant Armiger[edit]
These are elite stealth fighters in the service of Vivec.

Caravaner[edit]
These folks provide the Silt Strider transport service around Vvardenfell.

- Attributes: Intelligence, Endurance
|
|
Clothier[edit]
These people sell clothes and jewelry at clothing stores.
- Specialization: Stealth
- Attributes: Intelligence, Agility
|
|
Commoner[edit]
The people that walk the streets in Morrowind.
- Specialization: Stealth
- Attributes: Personality, Endurance
|
|
Drillmaster[edit]
These people train novices in the arts of war at the Fighters Guild, among other places.
- Specialization: Combat
- Attributes: Agility, Intelligence
|
|
Enchanter[edit]
These people are masters at enchanting objects and will sell them to you or help you make them.
- Specialization: Magic
- Attributes: Intelligence, Willpower

Enforcer[edit]
These light-armor-clad individuals are unfriendly to all but their "master".

Farmer[edit]
These folks have farms where they harvest several different crops and may herd animals such as Guar.

Gondolier[edit]
These folks run the gondola transport service in Vivec.
- Specialization: Stealth
- Attributes: Strength, Personality

Guard[edit]
These people maintain the law in Morrowind, by use of force if necessary.

Guild Guide[edit]
These are mages that teleport you to and from Mages Guilds, for a small fee.

Herder[edit]
Herders take care of domesticated animals such as Guars and Netches.
|
|
Mabrigash[edit]
Outcast Ashlander spellcasters, said to be evil life-sucking witches who drain men of their precious bodily essence.

Master-at-Arms[edit]
These are fearsome warriors who can fight with any kind of weapon.

Merchant[edit]
These people earn their living by buying low and selling high.

Miner[edit]
They work in the different mines scattered across the world, be they Egg, Ebony, or Glass mines.

Necromancer[edit]
These are mages who use their skills to summon deadly creatures to their aid. They are commonly found in their secluded Velothi towers and in some caverns.

Noble[edit]
The elite class among the Dunmer.

Pawnbroker[edit]
They trade most kinds of merchandise and earn their living by buying low and selling high.

Priest[edit]
They work at Imperial Shrines and can provide healing and other services.

Publican[edit]
They run the inns and taverns across Morrowind.

Savant[edit]
A person knowledgeable about the ways of the world.

Sharpshooter[edit]
Specialists in killing people at range.
- Specialization: Combat
- Attributes: Agility, Intelligence

Shipmaster[edit]
These people will carry you in their ships to and from the ports in several cities.

- Attributes: Intelligence, Personality

Slave[edit]
They do the hard labor for their masters. Slaving is a prosperous, but controversial, trade in Morrowind.

Smith[edit]
A person who is skilled at producing and repairing weapons and armor. They own smithies all across Morrowind.

Smuggler[edit]
They trade in illegal goods and can be found in caverns or hideouts across Morrowind.

The most common kind of businessman, they sell general merchandise and buy all sorts of things.

Wise Woman[edit]
They are the people who keep the lore and legends of the Ashlander tribes. They deal in some potions and local products too.
